Maize Chinampa

We created our first chinampa which we called the MAIZE Chinampa!
(A chinampa is a floating garden that was used as a method of Mesoamerican agriculture.)

The main purpose for our chinampa was to absorb phosphate and nitrogen in the reservoir water.  The reason we selected corn over our three previously tested plant species is based on the data table below.
